School's Out!

 Matt took his last final on Thursday the 15th! He did so well in all of his classes this year and we are so proud of him and all the hard work he does for our family.  Soon all the sleepless studying nights, all the seeing him for maybe 15 minutes a day days, and all the stress of tests will be over.  He's half way there!

To celebrate we walked over to the grocery store while Daddy was taking his last final and got some treats for him.  What better way to celebrate something exciting than with good food?

Heath wanted to make a treasure hunt for Dad to find his tasty treats, so we drew out a scavenger hunt. Don't worry that pretty much every time I'd ask, "K, where should we have daddy look next?"  they would both yell, "The toilet!"  we compromised and did 2 clues in the bathroom. : )   It was pretty cute to see how excited they were to watch Daddy follow the trail.

 We had ribs (marinated and slow cooked in the crock pot in soy vey sauce.. SO good!) strawberry salad (one of our absolute favorites too... SO good!) and Daddy got some Dr Pepper for a special treat.


We recently watched the cartoon, The Crudes, and these boys thought it was pretty cool to eat right off the bone like they did in the movie.  

 Did I mention, it was SO GOOD!
