I found this picture on our camera.  I thought it was just SO cute!
A few weeks ago we went grocery shopping as a family.  When we got home Matt unloaded the groceries into the fridge and thought,"I wonder why Cegan just bought one grapefruit?" For about a week every time I would open the fridge I would think to myself "When is Matt going to eat that grapefruit?"
One night 2 weeks later Matt finally asked, "Are you ever going to eat that grapefruit in the fridge?"
"I thought you were saving it for something?"
"I didn't get it."
"I didn't put it in the cart."
hmmmm...
"HEATH?"
 

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

After surviving the last week of the semester and before we took off to go home for Christmas break we had ourselves a little Christmas.  Heath especially, was super excited. When we got up in the morning and went into the living room to see the stockings & presents he said, "Where's baby Jesus? It's Christmas" we had to  explain that he was born a long long time ago, and Christmas is to celebrate him being born... he wasn't very happy with that answer. Since then he keeps telling us he wants Jesus to come today.   

 Houston was pretty dopey, but so cute to watch. He's such a sweet little guy.

 Heath has really figured this opening presents thing.  Both He and Houston were so sweet that morning and so easily excited by everything.

We had a very successful Red Rack's Thrift-store run a month or so ago and got the boys some pretty awesome stuff for a whopping $5.  We even saved some of the loot for Heath's birthday next month, so $5 covered us well.  The tools were a big hit. As were the puzzles, cooking utensils and trucks

 Daddy got a "Snake Gun cleaner" which is pretty much awesome! and a new pair of flipper sandals.

 Mommy got some books she's been wanting and lots of time with her family. Just what she needed!

 Merry Christmas!

These boys love going to the library.  We've been going every week to story time and it has become a much looked forward to event.

"I'm doing my homework" I guess that's what he sees Matt do all the time.

Just as I snapped the picture.....     don't worry I grabbed them before they actually touched his mouth.

The last couple weeks of school were challenge for everyone. Matt was studying so hard for all his finals and we were missing him lots. I got this picture of Houston chilling with Daddy on a little study break.  These boys couldn't get enough of Daddy when he was available. 

 The other day I let Heath pull out our train set while Houston was napping.

 He was in little boy Heaven!

 We did it again the next day, this time with a BRIDGE!

 When Daddy got home he helped Heath make a Dinosaur Train!

It's called a Lance.... Hello.

 We watched A Knights Tale a while ago with the boys. Ever since then Heath is almost obsessed with jousting. Having wrapping paper rolls has just reinforced this obsession.  He will climb up onto his rocking horse and ride as fast as he can, then "crash" and fall to the ground dramatically. Seeing as how Houston does everything Heath does, he's gotten in on the action as well.

 Heath decided this was a perfect helmet since he could pull it over his eyes and still see.

 Houston always runs to the camera saying "CHEESE" when it's around.  You can see his little teeth coming in.

 Not so happy about me asking to see his little face....

 The next day he upgraded to a bum wipe box.
