Cowboy Baby

After 2 weeks living in a hotel we finally got to our apartment.  The boys absolutely loved our long flight of stairs.  They played on them for hours every day.
There was a super awesome, free attraction very close to our apartment called Deanna Rose' Children's Farmstead.  We went with my wonderful cousin Olivia one day.  It was so fun to spend some kick back time as a family and with my cousin.   They have all kinds of animals, a milking demonstration, horsie rides, fishing, and an awesome round sidewalk with these tractor bicycles.
Heath was all business.

Heath asked to ride the horses.  We decided to spurge and spend the $3 to let him go for a ride seeing as how he has been completely obsessed with horses since the moment he saw one . He and Matt stood in line for about 20 minutes while Houston Liv and I sat in the shade and chatted.  Heath was so excited.  When it was his turn Matt went to help him on, but Heath just jumped right on no problem all on his own.  Once again he was all business.  Smiling that little, "I don't want to let you know just how happy I really am." Smile.
He talked about riding Annie, his horsie for weeks.  He LOVED it.  Don't worry Heath, someday we'll live in the country again.
We have a super awesome yard area around our apartment.  Heath and I often go out to the porch while Houston naps. I read, while he runs back and forth jousting.  It's great!
A couple weeks ago Houston started to seem pretty miserable.  We thought it was just teething, he was running a fever, super cranky, tired, needy, and had 4 spots on his gums bulging and red where teeth were trying to break through.   After a week of fevers on and off we were starting to get a little concerned, so we took him into the Childrens Urgent Care (which was awesome by the way)  The Dr said his lungs sounded pretty full so ordered an X ray. Sure enough, he had pneumonia. Poor little Houston.  Not quite sure how he got it in the Summer time, but they said people with Asthma are more likely to develop pneumonia with any drainage.  Which Houston had plenty of teething. So we started him on some antibiotics and a few days later he started to seem a bit better.
Heath really had fun babying Houston.  He would say to him in a high pitch squeaky voice, "Are you going to be ok Baby?"  to which Houston would nod his head.

Our poor little tired sick boy.
