We have now made it home from our 5 week long Christmas fun vacation! It is pretty nice to be back. I think it was really starting to wear on the boys to be away from their idea of normalness.  But since we were so busy having so much fun, we have to rewind a bit. This was Dec 22.

 My extended family has held a jousting tournament/banquet dinner the last couple years.  Last year was a lot of fun. And this year followed suit.  Heath was in Horsie/Jousting/knight paradise.

The food was delicious and the entertainment awesome!

Everyone shows up in Renaissance attire (everyone pretty much except for us, if your going to be gone for 5 weeks and only have a little car there's no extra room for costumes..:(

My family looked hilarious. All my brothers were wearing skinny leggings and just looked so silly.  Good thing we love them.

 After the feast it was time for the tournament to begin.  The "Knights" rode their trusty paper mache steeds and used cardboard tubes to joust. Sterling & Dallin both participated and we had fun cheering them on.

 My Dad wore his big sward they usually have hanging on the wall at their house.  All Houston could do was, "ohhhh, raarhh, oooohhh" He apparently thought it was pretty cool.

 We had a ton of fun & got to visit with so many wonderful friends & family. Such a great tradition.
