Thanksgiving part 3

 All who could be there were. Rebecca, Mary, Peter, Matt, Jimmy, Luke & Sam. We had a wonderful time talking and playing! Heath spent most of the time laying on the couch or sleeping on my lap. (That's when you know he really doesn't feel well) Bertie sat with him for a good while. It was really sweet of her.

 Grandpa did some black Friday shopping and got a bunch of awesome Grandpa toys! The kiddo's were in heaven! Mary's boys especially were just SO happy!

 Grandma's I Patches were a favorite as usual.

and the FOOD! It was SO GOOD!

 We made an attempt at taking a picture of all the grandkids there.  The first few are missing Lily, who was playing so quietly upstairs we didn't notice for a while.  Then the last few Hank and Wyatt  kept escaping.     At Christmas time we'll be better equipped with lots of bribery candy.

 Heath finally felt well enough to eat that evening! He had some of Grandma's tasty homemade applesauce. Heath continued to run a fever through the night, but it broke sometime between 4-7am. He was feeling much better the next day for the ride home.

 We couldn't think of any better way to end the festivities than a nice scoop of Braum's Eggnog Ice Cream! mmmm...

 And all too soon it was time to leave.  : (  

We took Sammy with us, to drop him off at Rebecca's house. Heath fell asleep before we got there, and woke up several hours later very disappointed that Sammy wasn't with us any longer.

Houston serenaded us all the way home.
