North Dakota Ice Cream

 Heath made himself an ipad so that he can study with Daddy.

Matt had a pretty big test on Thursday, so we didn't see much of him for several days leading up to then.   We were all keeping our fingers crossed that baby Thumbelina would wait until after the test to arrive. 

 After the test Thursday Matt came home and said lets have a date night! He was ready for a little break! We needed to get some groceries so we loaded up and set out. Poor non napping Houston was so tired. It was pretty funny to watch him start to fall over, but be caught by the straps in the cart, then sit back up. I swear that boy can fall asleep anywhere! (except his bed at nap time.)

We stopped on the way home and got a $5 hot n' ready and a redbox.  Heath was so excited for the pizza and requested to hold it on the way home. We chowed it down and put the boys to bed and watched Superman. It was actually one of the better movies I've seen in a while.  No swearing, no skin, no scandalisness. Plenty of action but not too crazy.  Good movie in my book. Heath wanted to stay up and watch the movie with us.  We told him that when he's a Daddy he can stay up late and watch movies with his wife and put his kids to bed.  He's now very excited to be a daddy someday.

 We had a little chocolate bar that I split with the boys.  Houston said, "Hey, I eat that Chocolate just like my Grandma!"  Grandma Forsyth, you have a reputation.

Heath was telling me the other day, "In North Dakota they have really good ice cream. It has sour cream in it, mint, chocolate, oatmeal, strawberries, grapes and cracked wheat mush.  All my favorite things! and it's really good for your body. Can we go to North Dakota and get some?"  

 I think he just wants to go to North Dakota to see Uncle Nile.   : )
