Reunited with Daddy and back in Granby, we enjoyed some real winter weather.  It started as rain, turned to ice, then snowed on top of that.  No church the next morning for us.  It did make for a little bit of fun out in the white stuff!

 It was FREEZING cold outside, so we only stayed for a few minutes, but Heath sure enjoyed it. He doesn't really remember snow from before.

 The pictures don't do it justice, but It was BEAUTIFUL! Everything was ice covered and shimmering in the sun.

Then it was time once again to leave and go back to the big city. : (

More Christmas Break

 Matt went back to Granby to work on his parents house and the boys and I spent a fun week with my family.  We visited Aunt Kayla's house where Houston helped her with her dishes, and Heath tried on her roommate's boots.


Her heater was having problems so we helped her buy and replace her furnace filter.  It was so nasty and full. Hopefully it made a difference.

 Heath gave Houston a "haircut" then said, "open up Houston. I need to cut your teeth too." Maybe that's what he thinks dentists do.

 Grandma & Grandpa took us all to Chucky Cheese to eat pizza and play games. It was so much fun!

Heath asked to play air hockey several times.

 In the end everyone gave Heath their tickets. He had such a great time putting them into the counter.  I had told him we needed to put the tickets into the machine, then we could go pick out a toy. Part way through he said, "look mommy it's making me a toy."

 Every morning the boys put out bird food then waited for the squrel to come eat it's breakfast.  They loved watching him.

 One afternoon Papa took us to McDonalds for lunch.  Heath was especially excited to get a  hanga-ger!


















Then Papa took us to Jump Mania!  They have tons of those blow up houses they have at fairs inside their building.  It was a perfect place for wintertime fun!

 They had obsticle corses you would go through with a big slide at the end. Heath was kinda scared at first, but arter we went through it once he was a wild man going through again and again. 

They also had a bounce house that we spent a good amount of time joustin in.  We would go to opposite ends, then run at each other and fist bump when we met in the middle.  

I was the only parent actually inside the things playing. I got a couple funny looks, but the lady said it was fine to go in, and we had so much fun together!

 Houston didn't like them very much. We got him to come in a couple times but he would mostly cling to me and beg to get back out.

 He liked going down the big slides, but was really content to play on the little mini slide they had for little guys.
























Heath swiped my camera several times during the trip. These are a couple smiles he got.

 There are about 30 pictures on the camera of Sterling eating this piece of fried chicken.  I guess it was really cool to Heath.

 Sterling was in the MR KHS competition at school. We all went to cheer him on. It was such a fun night.  Kayla was proposed to, Sterling did a sweet yoyo routine, and the boys each ate about 3 suckers to keep them quiet in the dead parts. It doesn't get much better than that.

Miss Missouri was one of the guest judges, which were seated right behind us.  When we got settled in our seats Heath turned around and said, "Mommy look it's a real life princess!" (she had on her tiara)

I later told her what he had said and she thought it was super cute.  She signed them a little picture of herself. When we got home Heath was really concerned that we needed to give it back to the Princess. "It's not ours!"

 Houston loves his Papa.

 Before we left they gave Heath a little birthday celebration. He got a "chocolate cake with chocolate worms on it!"


It was so much fun to be there for a whole week.  We sure love them all!
