We have absolutely loved having this sweet little girl in our family.

One day Heath said to me, "Mom it feels really good at our house with a new baby. My heart feels good with Lydia here."

New babies are just so special.

Hannah loves being the big sister. She takes care of Lydia any way we will let her. Sometimes Lydia is slightly afraid when she hears Hannah's voice, but Hannah just wants to love and love and love on her.

Hannah is really good at taking care of her own baby too. She changes diapers, feeds her, carries her around and sings her songs. She loves to hold "Weea" the best though.

On Easter Sunday Matt stayed home with Lydia and I went to church with the 3 oldest kids.

I was released from my calling as YW president. It was a very sad day, but I know the new Sister called loves those girls a ton too. I am so going to miss my girls!

We dressed Lydia up too in her special Easter dress from Anna. It is my favorite! So cute! Those little pink booties were mine when I was a baby.

Sweet Sisters.

Houston has been having a hard time with Lydia's name. About 3 times a day he'll say something like, "Hey Mom... um... whats her name again?" "Lydia" "Oh yeah.....Hey Mom..... Lydia is really cute."

We had some frozen Empanadas I had prepared for dinner one night. Houston said, "I just love these Empa LOT as. I want to eat a LOT!"

One day we were making pizza. I had been using the rolling pin to roll out the dough. Houston grabbed it, started rolling it on his tummy and said, "I'm rolling my tummy flat, its too fat." We all just laughed and laughed.

I let the boys watch Star Wars episode 4, A New Hope with me (I fast forwarded several parts). Afterwords they could not stop talking about it. They loved it SO much.

They kept talking about Obie Kadoobie and Luke.

"Mom can Hannah go with us to the park two? And Lydia come with us zero?"

Houston has 2 imaginary friends named Beego and Jeego. He tells us stories about them all the time. Beego's parents are named Liz and Taylor, but Beego is not Levi. Jeego's parents are named Kaitlin and Parker, but Jeego is not Gage. Beego can drive a car but he's 4 like Houston. His Dad just taught him how to drive really fast. Sometimes Beego's imaginary friend, Scar, comes over to play too.

"Mom my arms are broken and the only thing that can fix them is to eat some chocolate."

Running frantically into his room, "Mom I needed to wear a striped shirt today because I'm going to be the bad guy. Bad guys always wear striped shirts."

Heath is such a good kid. He has been so helpful lately. He helps Houston and Hannah when he can and always wants everyone to follow the rules.

He hates to tell a lie and often has a hard time saying Yes or No to a question lately because he is afraid to say the wrong answer and be lying. We have talked about this a lot, and I think he is starting to see that it's ok to make a choice, but he's still learning.

Lately we have been letting him stay up late one Sunday night a month to have some uninterrupted time with us. It has been really nice. We often play a game that he chooses. (He really likes checkers and uno and Tsuro.) We are able to talk about the things that he is worried about or curious about or that he is excited for. I am glad we have started doing it. I think it is good for all of us.

He loves singing and singing time at church. He also loves to find the sucker man after church is over.

Heath loves to play with Duplo Legos. Those, and his links. He is constantly creating amazing things out of them like helicopters, nun chucks, buildings, castles, airplanes and cars.

Heath loves to ask questions and try to figure out what is going on. He is getting really good at reading and doing really well with his home school projects. Grandma gave him a benchmark test in reading and said he is totally ready for 1st grade. (That was so good to hear, I always felt like he was doing well, but it's nice to hear it from someone who really knows.)

Heath loves all things living, all creatures. He loves to learn about them and watch them and touch them. He wants to be some kind of biologist when he grows up.

Hannah is just too cute these days. She is a total Daddy's girl and goes running anytime she sees him.

She loves to go to her sunbeam class at church and has always gone without a fit.

She loves to follow the boys around and play crazy games with them. She is definitely a rough tough little girl who is constantly going.

Lydia has been doing really well and we all just adore her.

I love it when I catch our kids reading together.

Daddy has been playing star wars with the boys and they Love It!

Picnic at the park. We have had several super nice days that couldn't be passed up when Daddy got home from clinic and could help chase around Hannah. This is Hannah with her two favorite people, Gageie and Parker.

Lydia has been sleeping pretty well. Most nights she gets up every 3ish hours to eat but goes right back to sleep. Some nights she doesn't go to sleep until about 2 or 3, but that has only happened a hand full of times.
