Happy Heath Day #5

 A couple days before Heath's birthday a package showed up on our doorstep from Grandma Fo.  It was a new pack of Zoobs!  Heath was so excited and went strait to work building everything in the instruction book.  We inherited some from a friend a few years ago, but only had about 10. Now he has enough to make anything his imagination can think up.  This is a helicopter (the blade actually spins).








In the package was a super mask for Houston.  He slept in it that night.  Heath has been supplying him with all kinds of swards.

 We have a little umbrella in the garage.  Heath has been asking for it for his birthday for about a month now. So we wrapped it up for him. He was SO happy to have it as his own.

 He also got a Doctrine & Covenants Scripture Reader.

 and a quilt I made for him.  He's too big for all of our "kid" blankets and we need ours, so I made him a twin sized one. He helped me pick out the fabric from my stash. It turned out super cute.  (I finished it the day of his bday while he and Houston played knights though...)

 This is so horribly out of focus, but I love it.  Houston came into the kitchen while Matt & I were making Heath's cake and yelled, "MomDad look quick!"

 Matt didn't have school on presidents day so we went to the science center to celebrate Heath's big day.

 Houston's getting a bit better at not freaking out every time we go down to the dinosaur exhibit.... this was before Matt picked him up so he could be nice and close...

 They have redone the weather area.  The boys really loved it.  Got to make tornadoes and earthquakes!

 In the dino exhibit they usually have paleontologists working on brushing away dirt/gluing together/cleaning dinosaur bones and fossils.  This time they let us all touch an actual Triceratops horn.  (not a replica) It was pretty neat.

 We even let the boys roll a coin down the funnel.  Every time we go they ask, and we usually are in a hurry to leave, so this was a real treat!

 We ate our lunch with the dinosaurs out back.

 

On Heath's birthday he and Houston spent most of the day playing imaginary things.  They found empty wrapping paper tubes that were soft paper and made armor, then hats out of them.  Heath wore his for almost a week. He loved it.

I love the way Hannah walks out of her feet almost every morning.

This was Heath's outfit of choice.  He wanted to wear his pajama pants all day and who would blame him?

This little girl has not been sleeping very well lately.  Since she was sick over Christmas break she has been getting up about every 1.5-2 hours at night. I can just feed her and she'll go back to sleep, but it's not been good for either of us.  We're kinda turning into zombies. 
Matt has been trying to help when he can.  Maybe we'll get her back on a good schedule soon... we better.











She is pretty cute though...

  A lot of them.

Lances and swards.

What does Mommy do for work? Clean our house and watch kids.

Fix people’s eyes.

 My animal book I got from Grandma Hansen for Christmas… and any Knight book.  

What is your favorite thing to do outside? Play at the park and go to the Zoo.

Who is your best friend? Everyone (in the background Houston says, “Hey!? What about Houston?” Heath says, “Houston, you are part of everyone, but you will be my best friend forever.”

What do you want to be when you grow up?  I’m still thinking.

What's your favorite game to play? Checkers & Star Trek

What do you like to take to bed with you? My Horsie.

 Go to the park and play with her.

Too many to say…. Suckers are one of them…. Licorice…ice cream… I just like all of them.

 If you could go anywhere, where would you want to go?  I’m a everywhere kind of kid.  

What makes you happy?  Playing with my family.

 What makes you sad?  Hurt

What makes you scared? Being all alone in the dark.

What is your favorite sport? 

 I think hockey, golf and tennis.

What's your favorite flavor of ice-cream?   Too much.

 It was slightly torturous waiting for Daddy to make it home for Cherry Berries in a Cloud.  There may have been several little snitchers throughout the day.

and Hannah just squeels with happiness when she sees Heath, so we all know she loves him!
